Motorcycle basic courses
The basic course is the ideal preparation for riding a motorcycle
Using playful exercises, slow driving, braking, behavior in traffic as well as cornering on mountain passes are trained.
What applies:
Before the motorcycle test, it is obligatory to attend a basic course. The basic course must be completed within 4 months of obtaining the learner's permit. Your category determines which basic course you have to attend.
New regulation from 2021
- Cat. A1 / A2 (50ccm and 125ccm) => Part 1 & 2 & 3 (4h each)
- Cat. A (from 125ccm) => part 1 & 2 & 3 (4h each)
- Basic course part 2a will be offered only until the end of April 2021
Part 1 & 2 must be attended in the same course. Part 3 can then be freely chosen in the same category.

Good to know
You must bring your motorcycle to the course and motorcycle gear including a helmet, long motorcycle pants, motorcycle jacket, and gloves. Shoes must reach above the ankle. You should have some experience in starting/braking, cornering, and riding in traffic. The course takes place in all weather conditions.
